An Important Reminder from International President Joan Boutilier

This message is to remind you to please remain vigilant regarding health and safety protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and its variants among choruses and quartets. The International Board of Directors recognizes that the virus’s impact is different depending on the city, state, region or country in which we live, but it is not ‘gone’ from our world. For most of us, singing safely in person is still a challenge, as choral singing does provide a high risk of spreading the virus. The top priority of Sweet Adelines International is the health and safety of all singers.
Information about COVID-19, its variants and transmission is ever-evolving. We encourage you to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding social distancing, mask wearing and the importance of the vaccine for individual and community health. Just as important, please stay in touch with and follow your local guidelines and mandates.
