Nomination Criteria

NOMINATIONS DEADLINE: April 6, 2025


This prestigious award is presented to a Region 16 member who has made outstanding, above-and-beyond visionary contributions to their chorus and/or the Region in a leadership capacity.

  1. Any Region 16 chorus, or the RMT, may submit a nomination form for this award for consideration by the Selection Committee.

  2. Nominations are limited to one per chapter per year.

  3. The Selection Committee shall consist of the last three (3) recipients of the award and the Regional Membership Coordinator. (If the Membership Coordinator has a conflict of interest, such as being a nominee themselves, an alternate Selection Committee member is selected from the Regional Management Team.)

  4. The selection will take place prior to Regional competition and will be presented at Regional competition.

  5. The candidate chosen for this honor will be eligible to receive it only once.

  6. Nominations must be in writing, 250 words or less, and signed by no less than two (2) members of the nominee’s chorus and/or regional representatives (Regional Resource Staff or Regional Management Team).

  7. Forms must be emailed by the published deadline to Barb Jacobs, Regional Awards Coordinator, via email to: btjacobsmilton@gmail.com. Forms received after April 6, 2025 will not be accepted.

  8. The administration of the award and amendments or alterations of these terms of reference are the responsibility of the Regional Management Team.
